XT936 CDRW

New machine. Can't get CDRW door to open. It appears to hang up the machine too. I downloaded floppy107.exe from hp site -- didn't do any good. Terribly frustrating. I've emailed HP for help -- no response for days. Any help out there? Thanks

Doreen,

There's a free phone support number for the US: 208-323-4663 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
They should be able to help you and pick-up, fix and return the pavilion if necessary.
