Query: Aruba Central Blocking access

We have Chromebook using a testing app in Chrome Kiosk that has to sync the Mac address of the Chromebook to a Testing server out in the world. The APP starts but can't get through to sync the Mac address to some kind of website that links the Mac to a test that it has been assigned.

Is there something in Aruba security that does not want a machine's mac address upload into the world? 

Our old Aerohives are letting the test work but not our new Aruba.
