hp probook 440 g1 fingerprint .. on windows 10

ive bought this laptop about a month ago and  originally it had windows 7 so i thought thats where the issue laid and i only needed an update to get the finger print identification  to work 

unfortunattly i was dissapointed to find that that was not quite the issue but the fact that windows does not recognize a fingerprint drive on  this device
