HPE iMC detects "Duplicate devices are found"
Good morning.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
The message:
HPE iMC says "Duplicate devices are found. The IP addresses are "10.1.2.255,10.1.2.54", which are assigned to the same device"
---------------------------------------------------------------------
I have a network with 130 switches (controlled in an exclusive vlan), and since I have been using Aruba Instant On 1930 switches, alarms have started indicating that there is a switch with a duplicate IP in the switch network.
The issue appears with all (12 units) Aruba Instant On 1930 switches and 1 HPE 2530-48G switch unit (There are 9 additional 2530 switches in the network with no problem)
Obviously, the IP address is unique and not duplicated. The devices are in the correct vlan.
They don't generate any major inconvenience, just a "Discover Identical Device" warning
I did a lot of tests related to the configuration of the switches, and I have no more ideas to try.
Does anybody have any suggestions?
Thank you very much in advance
