Stylus will not work on elitepad

I just got an elitepad and updated it to windows 10. However, I cannot seem to get a stylus to work with it. I bought an Hp Executive tablet pen R1 and it does not work, nor does the cocofang, although I suspect that the cocofang is not intended for Hp products. I have attempted to do the, "calibrate the screen for pen or touch imput," and have followed the steps, but the when I touch the pen to the screen, it does not even register. What do I do? How do I get the stylus to work?
