Turn off sleep mode?

I have a HP Officejet Pro 8500 all-in-one printer. It has now decided that it wants to turn the energy save/sleep mode on whenever it pleases. Any idea how to shut off energy save/sleep mode? It turns off auto answer for faxes and I have been having issues receiving faxes.
