ACR.EXE and Smartarray P600

The ACR.EXE is unable to set the config for my DL360 G4p SAS. It doesn't look like it is supported, but I'm using the latest version already. Is there a newer version?

Re: ACR.EXE and Smartarray P600

I tried using the 2.79d on the P400 driver without success - "No Controllers Found" message. I emailed HP and they said the DOS version is no longer supported on the servers with SAS drives and that I need to use either the Win32 or Linux version. Very disappointing to say the least. The process was painless with DOS. Now I feel like I'm reinventing the wheel.

I totally agree. With this we have to change the whole unattended setup method we are currently using. Cant figure out why they dont want to add dos support to this controllers. I could live with it if they say we dont support it but the tool works ...

I guess I'll register my complaint too. What a pain in the butt.

I too rely on the ACR utility to configure my controllers as aprt of a scripted install. Has anyone found a work around for this issue? I'd ne interested in the details.

thanks
