Everytime I pxe boot, after the nic driver is loaded bootworks comes up and I have to break out with F2 so I can get to the F:. How do I turn that feature off?

Re: f2 bootworks

Why do you have to breakout? Are you saying when you boot you hault with an F2?

Re: f2 bootworks

Are you saying you hit F12 or F2 and what kind of machine are you running into this problem with? Need some more information so, we can help you out. You might want to check how you have your PXE menu setup. There is an option about what you want the machine to do when it boots. Make sure you set it to the required boot state.

Re: f2 bootworks

What happens is I hit f12 and everything loads (drivers, dhcp), but then the rilo tries to load and will hang unless I hit f2. F2 will enter a bootworks screen and then I hit esc or exit and it goes to the f: where I can start to image. This is not a big deal more of a cosmetic issue, but I would like to figure it out. I have disabled the Rilo in the BIOS, but that doesnt help.

Re: f2 bootworks

At the time the ILO driver loads it's sending all kind of information regarding the ILO, Blade infrastructure info to the RDP server.

Uou can try to upgrade the ILO to the latest fw level.

It's not normal that you come into the f2 diagnostics menu. Normally we only use to troubleshoot the PXE bootprocess when a connection to the RDP server can not be established. Then this menu is used for debugging.

Make sure the PXE boot are ok. to make sure make a new PXE DOS bootfile.

If you need to press f2 to come into F:\ then you're not using the products as intended.

I don't know how many servers, server types are affected but make sure that the latest rom's are used and that the PXE files are ok
