Integrate new SmartStart into existing Rapid Deployment Server?
I cannot find how to integrate the latest SmartStart (etc.) into an existing RDP server. Is there a way and if so, how?

Re: Integrate new SmartStart into existing Rapid Deployment Server?
If you look through the posts here, you will find more info on a manual process. I do not think it is documented officially anywhere...
Here is a link with some similar info...

the basic concept is....in your deploy directory, under tools/cds/compaq create a new directory.. call it ssd7.1 or whatever the new version is. Follow the existing directory structure. Within the new dir, create the appropiate folders.. w2k, wnet, etc..
Copy the ssd files to the new locations and your almost ready to use them.
In your scripts, change the appropiate variables to reflect the new ssd. The scripts should then pull from the new SSD.
Make sure you run the ssd setup to configure your Management Agent settings before deploying via script.
