PSPs and linux VMs ....

PSPs and linux VMs ....

Is there any advantage to applying PSPs to a linux VM? If so, what modules should be installed and, more importantly, why? I don't want to duplicate anything that ESX can or is already doing.

The PROLIANT Support Pack can only be applied to a physical ProLiant server and it has no role or function inside a VM of any flavor since a VM's "hardware" is synthetic.
