Same problem
I have the same problem, and if i change the file copy event from "Copy files using Deployment Server" to "Copy directly from source" I get an "Overlapped I/O is in progress" error and the copy fails.
This error also started when i upgraded my rdp 1.3 to a 1.4 (my deplayment server is a 380 G3)

Re: Same problem
I posted this in two places to cover all the bases...
There is a problem with Aclient and the Copy File task in Deployment Server 5.6 SP1 (RDP 1.40). Here is a temporary work-around to get the copy speeds back to expected levels:
1. In the Copy File task dialog click ADVANCED.
2. Select the radio button, Copy directly from file source .
3. Enter a user name and password with rights to the share.
Doing this will have Aclient pull the files from the share (it is assumed that the directory being copied is in a network share) instead of having the files pushed to the client machine.
The problem will be fixed in a future release of RDP/Deployment Server.

Re: Same problem
One additional thing ??? to use the ???copy directly from source??? option, you have to change the source location to a UNC path.
