SUSE ES9 scripted installs with RDP 1.6 WE

Does anyone know if this works yet? I know it does not appear on the support matrix. And there was any earlier question in August that where it was not working.
But I found a question on the Altiris website where a suggested solution to get SUSE ES9 and RDP1.5 working was to upgrade to DS 6.1 (AKA RDP1.6).
But no indication of it it works yet.

Re: SUSE ES9 scripted installs with RDP 1.6 WE

Found my own answers....here for anyone else to use..

A Reply from Altiris...."Altiris is supporting SUSE ES9 with DS 6.1 SP1 Hot Fix D."

And from HP presales
Question:

We have been asked to deploy SUSE ES9 on BL20P G3 do you know of any restrictions or advisories I need to evaluate if we are do deploy them using RDP 1.6? Can I just replicate the United Linux 1.0 jobs?

Also can we do boot from SAN with this configuration as well?

Answer:
_______

Please check the replies from our Linux specialists:

SLES9 is supported on both BL20p G2 and G3
(http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/servers/linux/hpLinuxcert.html)
Current version of RDP for Linux is 1.10
(http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/servers/management/rdple/index.html)

There are a lot of differences between United Linux 1.0 and SUSE SLES
9.0. It is not suggested to simply replicate the jobs.

First of all the config file name for the network card are not named
ifcfg-eth0 has usual but ifcfg-xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx (with the MAC address
of the card). So if the software you use for installation has not been
specifically tested for SUSE SLES 9.0 you will have no working network
at the end of the installation

Second point is: as it is a 2.6 kernel there are no way to use old
version of the health agent on this release. So be sure that all the
agents and drivers needed by your customer have been released by HP.

There should be no problem with the intalation of the supported SLES9
using the RPD.

Hope this helps with your query.
