2nd Processor
What is the part number for the 2nd processor I need to install in this system. Is the processor that comes installed a Xeon processor and can you mix Xeon and non-Xeon processors

The processor is a plain vanila PIII with special heat sink and power regulator.
The kit number (which includes all three) is dependent on the speed of the first processor in the system (they must be matched). To find out the part numbers for any Compaq server, go to www.compaq.com, select "servers", select "proliant servers", select the server you want if it is current production (by clicking on model number) (or "retired servers" under "related links" if it is not) and then select "Specs" or "Quick Specs" depending on which is available. This will give you every Compaq part number related to retail purchase for this Model number (service parts are a differenet, much longer, story).
