Re: Adding disks to RAID ARRAY
I have downloaded the SmartStart CD and used it to install the ACU. I used the Diagnostics Utility to find out about my controller.
I really don't know what much of it means. So I have attached it in hopes that someone can help me.
Still the ACU program does not detect any supported controllers. Any ideas?
Like I've said in previous posts, The only thing I am worried about is losing the OS. I only have 1 partition, which contains the OS, and data. Am I going to lose this by just putting a disk in and trying to extend with the Windows diskpart?

Re: Adding disks to RAID ARRAY
It seems that the server has a RAID LC2 controller which is not supported by ACU. You would need to use the Option ROM Configuration of Array (ORCA) to configure the arrays.
Unfortunately, you would not have any options to perform capacity expansion using ORCA. In this case, I think you'll have to back-up the data, create a new RAID Array & install Windows again.

Re: Adding disks to RAID ARRAY
The Quickspecs have information about the utilities that can be used to configure RAID LC2 controller.
