Array controller gives temperature warning
The message I'm getting is this:
CPQARRAY - The Compaq Array Controller in slot 3 reports the storage enclosure on port 1 is nearing the preset temperature limit.
Please take corrective action.
After about 30 minutes it generates another message telling me that it has returned to normal temperature. Can someone tell me what is causing this and whether the problem lies in the controller itself or in one of the 3 18GB hard drives I have in the server.
Thank you
Don

Re: Array controller gives temperature warning
it could be a bad sensor on the motherboard...run diags and see if it detects anything
