ASR Lockup Detected

Symptom : system reboot itself at any time. Same problem with another identical server. Full lockup with ASR disabled but able to enter the debugger.

Message in Compaq Integrated Management Log :

ASR Lockup Detected: Code executing at Netware OS address 104062h when ASR NMI occurred.

Configuration :

Cluster of 2 Proliant ML530 G2 (System ROM P22-08/17/2002)
2 Intel Xeon 2.4 Ghz
2 Gb Ram
Disk Controller SMART-532 (Firmware Revision 1.92) with 2x36.4Gb drives (Raid1)
2 Compaq NC3123 Fast Ethernet NICs
2 Qlogic 2310F FC adapters (Bios Version 1.30, Driver Version 6.50r)

2 Switchs Brocade
2 HP disk array XP128 (OEM HDS) 300Gb online (mirroring by OS)

Netware 6.0 Support Pack 2 + Netware Cluster services 1.6.2
SP2NSS2D EDIR862SP3 TCP605O NW56UP2
CPQCSP 6.20A

I am encountering a similar problem (ASR lockup detected) on my Netware 6 box.

Configuration:
1 Proliant ML530 G2 (System ROM P22-11/15/2002)
2 Intel Xeon 2.4 GHz
2 GB RAM
Disk Controller Smart Array 5302 with 5x36.4 GB drivers (RAID 5)
2 Compaq NC3123 Fast Ethernet NICs
2 Qlogic 2310F FC adapters

Problem started apearing about 2 weeks back. Have resorted to moving NDPS and Arcserve9 to another server but problem still persists. Seems to be happening on a daily basis now.

Have you tried to turn off hyperthreading just to make sure it's not causing any problems?

No more problem since i have modified the IRQs of Qlogic HBAs and Lan cards. One IRQ was shared between Qlogic HBAs and a Lan card.

I have also disabled hyper-threading.
