I've seen a few threads here and there, but I was wondering if anyone ever figured out that "base system device" is, in the device manager. It's the only item showing up with a yellow question mark. The server is a Prolient DL360 G2 with 2003 server enterprise w/ SP2.
Tanks in advance!
JT

Re: Base system device-DL360 G2
It will probably be the Integrated Lights Out (ILO) interface which is giving you the problem.
Try this download and apply rather than the whole product support pack.

I hope this helps.
