BCM 5719 OCP 3.0 Slot 15 causes server fans to run high
HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen11 has a Broadcom network card 5719 1 GB 4 port BASE-T Adapter. We recently upgraded our BIOS to latest version in addition to the iLO firmware and the Server Platform Services firmware.
Please see URL below about how 5719 affects the fans being loud.
Firmware upgrade fixes this, but this firmware upgrade was already applied in later part of year 2023.
June 20th, 2024, the fans started running loud again. after BIOS was upgraded.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Re: BCM 5719 OCP 3.0 Slot 15 causes server fans to run high
Hi,
Have you tried using a newer firmware for the Broadcom and Drivers as recommended, HPE recommends Broadcom NX1 1Gb Driver for Windows Server x64 Editions, version 221.0.5.0 (D) or later, for use with this firmware.
Thank You!
