ProLiant DL360 Gen10  server.  Login into ILO  shows below message:-

UEFI: System ROM Authentication Error - The system is operating on a recovered or redundant image. Redundant ROM functionality is NOT available.

Then recommended:-

Recommended Action Verify the System ROM revision. Update the System ROM to restore redundancy.

 

DO I UPGRADE THE BIOS TO "n-1"  or "n-2"

Can I plan upgrade of BIOS ROM  to   3.32_08-29-2024   & resolve the issue?

    Microsoft Windows Server 2019 Datacenter 10.0.17763
  • System ROM
    U32 v2.90 (07/20/2023)
  • System ROM Date
    07/20/2023
  • Redundant System ROM

Hope this helps!

It’s not necessary to go to "n-1" or "n-2" unless there is a specific compatibility issue with the most recent version.

I suggest you to try updating system ROM from U32 v2.90 to U32 v3.40 (latest version). This might resolve your issue. Please click here to download System ROM Flash firmware package.

Note: Make sure to back up any critical data and configuration settings before performing any system ROM update.
