Black screen, white vertical lines on Remote Console ILO2

On a few servers that I connect to via ILO and then open the remote console window I get a black screen with multiple vertical white lines.  When the mouse is moved over, it goes over it as a square - it does not go away.

It is ILO 2 and there are no hardware issues, the other parts of ILO work.  I tried the various options in Remote Console but they all gave me the same screen.

I'm thinking of replacing the system board but wanted to see if there was anything else I could try.

Hi,

Check the iLO2 firmware and make sure you have latest firmware.

which remote console are you trying to use? If you are using Java integrated remote console then you need Java runtime enviornment installed and enabled from browser.

The server I'm connecting from I know has the correct java module as I can connect to other server ilos. I shall check the firmware and compare it with other working servers although they were all deployed at the same time.

I resolved the issue by replacing the system board.
