Blue Screen of Death
Managed to complete the text mode installation of Win2k. After rebooting and entering the graphical mode for the first time, I hit the following error:
*** STOP 0x0000007B (0xF401B84C, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)
INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE
I have no idea how to proceed from here. Please advise.

I have received the same error and Compaq has been no help. The problem is that I am unable to load the correct driver or Compaq does not have a correct driver and setup does not see the hard drive. I am still working on this issue myself.

You can solve the problem by entering F6 by the first installation screen of windows 2000 and then select the driver with the version 5.4.10.0.
Attention: not the driver with version 5.4.14.0! This have same result like the default driver of windows 2000.
