I have an old HPE Proliant DL380 G8 bought refurbished and used only for testing.
It has already been used in the past, but has not been used for over a year.
I tried to turn it on now, but I can't get past the "Easy system initialization" splash screen.
It gets to "100% COMPLETE" and reboots again.
If it helps, the final "Status code" is 5808.
Sometimes (1 out of 10) the HP Proliant screen appears (I think it is the calibration one), but it disappears immediately without giving me time to do anything.
ILO IP 4 is reported as "Unknown", but I had noted the static IP.
I connected my PC into the network port for ILO and using the same range, but in the browser I can't reach this address either with http or https.
The Bios is P70.
Thanks in advance for any help.

SolutionHi,
Try the basic troubleshooting like:
Remove any external devices attached which are not required for boot.
Remove any PCI cards that are not required for boot.
Try with minimum DIMM configuration.
Clear NVRAM from System Maintenance Switch. Page#15

Re: Boot only "Early system initialization"
Thank you very much.
I removed the PCI connectors and memories.
Assembling everything again, it started again.
Thanks again.
