Can I add a second RAID controller, for an additional JBOD?

Hi.

I have an HP Proliant DL380 G5, with a P800 smart array controller.   I currently have an HP StorageWorks MSA60 JBOD attached to the array controller, and all works as expected.

I have just purchased an HP StorageWorks D2700 JBOD (as the MSA60 was no longer available.).  

I now realise that the D2700 cannot be connected to the P800 controller.

Can I just add an additional RAID controller, compatible with the D2700 for attaching this to, without interfering with the existing set up?

HP StorageWorks D2700 supported RAID controller compatibility  spec is here.

 I use two same HP Smart Array controller in one server 2x HP Smart Array 6400 without problem. But two differrent HP Smart Array in one server is intresting question.
