Can ilo2 be connected and accessible without using any terminal devices

we want to install DL380G5 with RHEL 5.2 so we need ilo2 connection for remote console and maintenance activities.

Can ilo2 be connected and accessible providing IP only and without using any terminal devices like cyclades, avocent or mergepoint ?

thanks in advance,

Raj

Hi Raj,

Yes it can. If you point a browser at the IP address of the iLO you'll be able to get to a web based remote console.

If you need a full graphics console, then you'll need a iLO Advanced license.

Cheers,
