Can u use all HPE HDD's on an Proliant DL380 G7?
Hello,
i just bought an used Proliant DL380 G7 from Ebay and i wonder which hpe hdds i can use. I found this site https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=emr_na-c02755440#N10012
But the problem is i cant find any of those hard drives on any online shop. Is it possible that i use "newer" hard drives that arent listed for this server? (like this one: https://www.ebay.de/itm/HPE-450-GB-6G-10K-SAS-2-5-Smart-Carrier-G8-G9-HDD-652572-B21-653956-001/114194233179?epid=118256174&hash=item1a9681b75b:g:CrkAAOSw9rJenrrL)
Thanks

Smart Carrier G8/G9 HDD are not supported on G7 and older servers.
However you can contact HPE Live Sales Chat for further assistance.
