hi,
i have two ml 350 g3 servers. server1 with a SA641 controller and server2 with a SA642 controller. (Both windows 2003 Server).
server1 (SA641):
Array 1 - Raid 1 - OS (2 disks)
Array 2 - Raid 5 - Data (4 disks)
server2 (SA642):
Array 1 - Raid 1 - OS (2 disks)
Array 2 - on channel 2 (external port) a MSA with 6 disks (raid 5)
i want to change the controllers - SA642 to server1 and vice verca. Is this possible ? as far as i know the raid information is on the
controller and on the disks ? - is there something special to do ?
manuel
