Chelsio T520-CR in a ProLiant

Hi

I would like to test a Dell Chelsio T520-CR, I have had compatibility problems on my PowerEdge R320, which is the server I use to test and study.

The server is not able to boot with the NIC installed, so I thought about purchasing a ProLiant server to install my Chelsio NIC.

I have thought of a ProLiant ML110 G5, does this type of server have compatibility with this type of Hardware? Does any other type of server offer compatibility?

I think the ML110 G5 has an intel main board right?

I know it's an old server, but I just need to test with my NIC and nothing else.

The operating system would be FreeBSD, the current stable version. Could someone confirm if I would have compatibility problems with the server and my NIC, Freebsd does support the NIC.

Thanks.

Hi,

Chelsio will be the best people to suggest you the compatibility between this card and a ProLiant server.
