Concerned about CPU Temps

Hello!

In my DL380 Gen 10, when sitting at idle, CPU1 is around 38-44C and CPU2 sits at around 52-58C. When I do transcoding or anything “intense”, CPU 1 gets around 48-55C and CPU2 gets like 61-68C.

I had installed new hds and when I did so, I checked the CPU paste and cleaned both CPU’s and hear sinks off and reapplied attic silver5, as I have done to many CPU’s. And this is where my temperatures are at.
Should I be concerned?

Re: Concerned about CPU Temps

Hi,

Please check the QuickSpecs, there are some requirements for Fan and Temperature based on your server configuration.

Thank You!
