creating and restoring ghost image
we have created an image using ghostcasting 9.0. on a DL360 G4p. It has 2 36Gb disk in a raid 1+0 level. it has a single partition with win2003 installed on it.
the goal is to restore the image to 2x 72Gb raid 1+0.
after a succesfull restore (according to ghost), we booted the server and we got an MBR error??
How is this possible?
i tried fixing the problem with fdisk /mbr but it didnt resolve the problem.
has it anything to do with the disks or the raid level??
kan it be a hardware problem?
i am now trying tot restore the partition to 2 other 36 Gb disk, to check wat is the problem but please assist with advise.

Re: creating and restoring ghost image
We tried to use Norton Ghost on a Windows 2000 system and basically had the same problem. Symantec has another product called LiveState Recovery for use with 2000/2003 OS. We bougth the Suite and it works great. I hope this helps.

Re: creating and restoring ghost image
try to restore when you connect one disk
