Customer Self-Install components? Affect server support?

I tried searching for an answer to this question but couldn't find anything.

If a customer wants to install add-on components into their DL380 Gen10 Plus server, which is on a Tech Care support contract, in order to save money, are they eligible to do this?  Will it invalidate any part of their overall server support contract?

I was not able to find a document listing the components which are CSI.

Specifically, this customer wants to install:

- CPU and heat sink

 - MR416i-a and associated cables and snart storage battery

- Memory DIMMs

Thanks!

Hi,

It would be a good idea if you clarify this with your Account Manager or Sales team.

Here in this document, it talks about Customer-replaceable parts, but whats not is the question.

Thank You!
