Guten Tag zusammen,

Hello everyone,
due to a motherboard failure (the server suddenly shuts down, 'Power Removed' in the log), we are receiving a new server that is completely identical in construction. Can we simply transfer the 2 hard drives from the old server to the new one, and everything will work as before? (The new server does not come with hard drives)
If not, what is the best approach for us to take?
Best regards

Re: HP ProLiant DL360 Gn10 - Server/Festplatten tausch Harddrive Swap
Google Translated:
Depends on how the 2 hard drives are connected.
This is possible with a Smart Array Controller (SR) (has been done many times).
I wouldn't be sure if it's NVMe disks on the CPU, or MegaRAID controllers or S100i.

SolutionJa, passt.
Google Translated:
Yes fits.
I've actually done it that way before in the config.
The raid configuration is located here on the hard drives and is taken with you.
