Hi,
I have ProLiant DL360 Gen10 iLO 5 where I'm configure IPv6. Wonder if the IPv6 Dyname Address can be disable:
IPv6 Dynamic Address 0:
Source/Type: SLAAC
Address: fe80::5680:28ff:fe68:13fb/64
Status: active
I'm using/configuring static IPv6 only.
Is there option to disable the IPv6 Dynamic Address 0?
Thank You,
TruBlu

Re: Disable IPv6 Dynamic Address in iLO 5?
Hello,
In the iLO 5 user guide refer to section "Configuring IPv6 settings" and scroll down to section "DHCPv6 Configuration settings" and check if any of the options mentioned here are enabled. If so, then you may disable them and check if the result is as you desire.
Regards,

Re: Disable IPv6 Dynamic Address in iLO 5?
Hi,
Yes, I did go into iLO GUI and unselected all IPv6 settings in both iLO Dedicated and Shared ports and IPv6 Dynamic Address is still showing.
I only want Static IPv6 Address that I manually configured.
Any suggestion is appreciated.
