HPSUM when removed from the OS, does not delete the old baseline information

i extract spp 10-03-21 from the SPP iso,  to a driectory on windows 2008 R2 system. I launch hp_sum and see old baselines still present from past SPP's. where and how to delete that stuff. all it does it tie up SUM as it tries to re-inventory all thos old baselines. I can leave running for days and it never times out.

Hi,

Are you running HPSUM on 2008 R2 operating system? Thats not supported, check the release notes.

Now coming to deleting the baseline, check this document.

Thank You!

Thanks for the response. however, I am unable to delete them due to the fact they are in a continious state of being discovered and the actions box presents the delete as greyed out.

All righty, I got it cleaned up. I had to run spp\pacakages\clean-cache.bat.
