Disk Drive Configuration
I have a ML370 what is best disk drive configuration if I am running NT 4.0, MS SQL 2000, IIS and Coldfusion with
- 1gb of RAM
- Smart Raid Controller
- (4) 36 gb Drives
I want to make all the dives into a raid 1 + 0 config then partion the system into a 4gb logical drive and put my data on another logical drive.
Another option is to put the OS on one raid 1 drive set or one sperate drive.
Any thoughts anyone ?

Re: Disk Drive Configuration
I will go for the second option. Installing the OS in a RAID 0+1 is a west, if you have to seperate the datafile and the OS. I will definitely install the OS in a Raid 1, and for better fault tolerance , store the datafile in RAID 0+1.
Thank You.
