DL 380 G5 boot from USB
Hi All,
i would like to install window server 2016 into this server using usb. unfortunately, this server not bring me go to select my usb. i already set the boot start from usb drivekey. Kindly help.
error geting from screen as below
attempting boot from usb drivekey (C:)
attempting boot from hard drive (C:)
error loading operation system

That server is pretty old, it could be the USB Key is formatted in such a way as the BIOS does not understand it.
Any reason you don't use the iLO and then mount the 2016 ISO file there as Virtual CDROM?

Hi,
Windows Server 2016 is not a certified OS for DL380 G5 server.
