Hi,
We have some DL380 GEN10 servers with P408i-a SR controller and the cache status is "not configured":

SolutionHi,
It is not sure if the SSDs are attached to the controller. If yes, then the smart path for SSD would have enabled.
HPE SSD Smart Path is enabled by default when you create an array using SSD drives, hence the controller cache configuration is not available.
In case customer wish to configure the Smart array cache then we need to disable the Smart path from the SSA.
Procedure
1. Open HPE SSA.
For more information, see "Using the HPE SSA GUI."
2. Open the Configure panel by doing one of the following:
• Choose a device and click Configure in the quick navigation menu.
• Select an available device from the Home screen, and then click Configure under the available
options.
3. Select a controller from the Devices menu.
The Actions panel appears.
4. Under Configure>Logical Devices, choose the array with logical drives.
5. Click Disable HPE SSD Smart Path.
6. Click Save.
