DL 380 G6 ASR - NetFN 0x6, command 0x25 timed out

All -

I just deployed 4 DL 380 G6s and one of them recently had an ASR with the following warnings preceeding the ASR in the System log, All Event ID 57

NetFN 0x6, command 0x25 timed out
NetFN 0x36, command 0x2 timed out
GetDeviceID failed: 0x0

I am running Windows 2003 R2 SP2 x64, Ent
iLO Firwmare 1.8
BIOS 20090620

I know the stock response to this will be to upgrade all firwmare/drivers, however, I have been following a thread with a similar issue on DL 380 G5s which started in 2007 and I am shocked this is a problem in the G6!

Yes you need to update, it is a known issue, see this advisory:

Several other components that are older may get incoporated into the G6 so some 'features' get migrated by design....

And as you pointed out several threads indicate different fixes for their particular configuration so your mileage may vary...
