DL 385 G5 DVD Burner

Is the DVD Burner for the DL385G5 compat with DL 380 G4 ??

Hi Seth,

As per the quickspecs:

DL385 G5: http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/13012_na/13012_na.HTML
DL380 G4: http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/12028_na/12028_na.html

Both are compatible for IDE DVD-ROM/CDRW Combo included on Performance models

As the connector is common, we can try using the DVD RW drive.
