Help with dl180 g5 for installation of sata dvd optical drive

I bought a new dl 180 g5 quad xeon server, and when I access the bios for the first time by pressing the F10 key during boot, It does not show any where in the list to boot from a SATA dvd optical drive. I know I bought the right dvd rw optical kit(part # 481043-b21). So my thought is that I must have installed the dvd rw incorrectly.

If that is the case, where should I connect the SATA cable to the server?

I believe there are several numbered SATA connectors on the mother board. Which one should I connect it to? The manual just tells me to connect it to the server and that's it????? I know I must have connected power to it correctly because it lights up.

Any help out there?

there are 6 connectors - 5 and 6 are for optical devices
