DL145 & RHEL not recognizing hard drives

I have a DL145 that I am trying to install RHEL v4 on. I have downloaded the driver for the U320 SCSI card for my version of linux and I start the installation with a linux dd command to load the driver. Despite these steps when I come to the section on partitioning drives I get the error that there are no drives available for a file system.

I have read through these forums a followed the steps described therein but still get the error. What am I doing wrong?
