DL320 G2 Boot Issues
Added SATA PCI card to open PCI slot 1 on DL320 for external data drive use only. Integrated IDE drive has OS installed. BIOS boot order is CD, Floppy, IDE, PCI Slot 1. If no SATA drives are attached to SATA PCI card, server boots normally to IDE. However, when I attached SATA drive to SATA PCI controller card, server tries to boot from SATA PCI card even though it is last in the boot order. Any ideas? I have tried to different SATA PCI cards and it makes no difference. Called SATA card Mfg and they said that DL320 BIOS controls the boot process. Any ideas anyone? Thanks in advance - David

Re: DL320 G2 Boot Issues
Check the Boot Controller Order in the RBSU (F9). What does it say?
