DL320G3 SATA problem redhat es4
I┬┤ve installed redhat es4 u1 on a DL320 G3 successfully with RAID1 with the driverdisk.
when everythings installed and running there seem to be no way to monitor the disks or get any notifications of failure.
hp-support says theres no support for monitoring or management of satadrives with the embedded sata-controller.
where must be a way - anyone with the same problem?

No problem, just install HP SATA RAID Controller Manager for Linux : http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/23484.html

Yes, you can monitor targer server (DL320) from your PC. To do so, Storage Manager must be installed on your local system and on the server. Then you can add the remote system to view in your system.
