Some of our servers are being upgraded from a DL320G5 to a DL320G5P. I'm wondering if anyone has a changelist between the NIC's firmware's and drivers:
[DL320G5]
Bios: 2007.4.6
NIC driver: 9.81.0.0
NIC firmware: 2.0.0.5
Broadcom chipset: NC324i
[DL320G5P]
Bios: 2007.12.06
NIC driver: 10.62.1.2
NIC firmware: 2.1.2.0
Broadcom chipset: NC326i
[DL320G5]
Bios: 2007.4.6
NIC driver: 9.81.0.0
NIC firmware: 2.0.0.5
Broadcom chipset: NC324i
[DL320G5P]

NIC driver: 10.62.1.2
NIC firmware: 2.1.2.0
Broadcom chipset: NC326i

Hi,
I doubt that anyone has the information you need.
The differencies, for which HP "allows you to know" are listed under Enhancement/Fixes for each driver release, check under " Revision History "...
Firmware :
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=3201178&swItem=MTX-0a974a22a88f41379bc895116c&prodNameId=3288095&swEnvOID=1005&swLang=8&taskId=135&mode=5
Almost every change in the firmware is related to the Multifunction NICs(iSCSI feature)...
Driver:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=3201178&swItem=MTX-6173f3411386424db22c18717d&prodNameId=3288095&swEnvOID=1005&swLang=8&taskId=135&mode=5
Two main differencies - the latest driver fixes incorrect reporting of the link status and provides TX/RX tunable parameters which allow better resource control for the user...(you can change the number of rec/trans so they fit your environment needs...)
There are even newer drivers on broadcom.com 2.78, which will be available on hp.com maybe....
Not sure if this is what you expected, but no official release of the changes afaik
Regards,
