DL320s memory upgrade
Hi all, we have two DL320s we use as VMware Server hosts and are already expanded at 8GB of ram (4x2GB modules).
Recently on this forum I've read a post of a user that said he had an older model of proliant (don't remember which one it was, only it was a G2 of some ML or DL model) that by hp specs supported only max 8gb, but in a reply another user told him he had successfully upgraded his "same model" server to 16GB without problems.
So I'm asking if anyone knows or can confirm similar experiences on a Proliant DL320s.
Basically, I'd be interested to see if this model supports the 4GB memory modules, since it has only 4 memory sockets and the 4GB modules would be the only possible upgrade path.
Thank you in advance,
Michele

Re: DL320s memory upgrade
Thanks for your reply.
I know that its "not officially supported", in fact I wasn't seeking an official answer, but a practical one that maybe someone in the forum had already tried, that's all.
Thank you anyway,
Michele
