Re: DL360 G6 cannot use HP network configuration utility
Niladri Jana -> It's not the case, please take a look before post a reply :
If the NC382i driver (compatible with NCU 9.90) was easy to find there won't be any post about this...
At that time, on the download page for NC382i there is no driver section :
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=3811493&prodTypeId=329290&prodSeriesId=3811492&swLang=13&taskId=135&swEnvOID=4064
If you take a look to any other network card there will be a driver section. For the NC373i for example :
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=3660137&prodTypeId=329290&prodSeriesId=3660135&swLang=8&taskId=135&swEnvOID=4064
For the case of the G6, the nc382i is an embeded card on the motherboard, it seems normal to have this driver on the "driver page" of this server like for any other embeded card... and this is the case : if you read carefuly this post you'll see that the problem is not that we can't find the driver for the NC382i, it's just that the NCU 9.90 is not compatible with the driver available on the download page : you have to open the scsi boot package to find a compatible driver.

Re: DL360 G6 cannot use HP network configuration utility
Hi
We have the same problem on Win 2008 32 bit. Updated the Teaming software yesterday and got same error about miniport driver. Downloaded a driver but on installing it crashed the server, now 2 of the NIC have disappeared (the NC382 and there are 2 360 ones there that say no cable plugged in. Of course they are plugged in and there is a link light but the drivers say up to date etc. I have put on the latest PSP and even downloaded the ISCSI utility mentioned but that just says it is not required. Any help gratefully received.
