Hi all,
im having a strange issue and im not sure if im doing something wrong or something else is wrong?
i can use the .net console for ILO 3 without any issue, but i cant use the java applet on any windows, linux, mac and any browser?
i keep getting this weird error

Re: DL360 Gen7 ILO3 unable to load resource
Same issue for me on same server model. I can see that the file at /html/intgapp3_231.jar is present (and downloadable) however .jnlp will not load it.
Some more information for the gurus...
1. Server is protected by SSL certificate (when first seem was not)
2. Domain puts the server in the Local Intranet group - with Low level security settings applied
3. Not browser constrained - it will occur on IE, Firefox and Webkit browsers (Safari & Chrome)

Re: DL360 Gen7 ILO3 unable to load resource
The solution is exactly right to the point where it needs to be.

You both saved my bacon today. Really appreciate it.
Same here! Thank goodness for this thread! Thank you both so much!
Really unusual to me that this setting appears to default to off, yet renders the Java viewer inoperable unless enabled! Considering the .NET viewer basically doesn't work from any modern browser, this setting being off really criples the iLO! HP should really consider having this setting default to ON in future firmwares! That is if there will be more iLO 3 firmwares heh.

Re: DL360 Gen7 ILO3 unable to load resource
I can confirm I have this issue as well, Java version 8 update 211 (build 1.8.0_211-b12)
I've ensured the iLO site address is in the Java security exceptions list, but still no dice.
System is an HP DL-580 G7, iLO 3 with firmware 1.91

Re: DL360 Gen7 ILO3 unable to load resource
In this case, please downgrade Java version and check security settings.
In case you can't download older Java version, you can do it by visiting our public repository: https://repo.croweb.host/windows/java/
You will find x86 and x64, update 162 that works - tested and confirmed.
Regards,

Re: DL360 Gen7 ILO3 unable to load resource
Late to the party but worked here as well.
Using Oracle Java Web Start and ILO FW 1.93 on Proliant DL380 G7.
Note:
With Oracles License changes affecting Java usage in many companies, an alternative to Java Web Start may be relevant: https://openwebstart.com/ I was not able to get it to work, I might have done something wrong, half a dozen of security prompts and I think I caught them all, but after restarting it I did not see anything that would help me getting it to work (on W10).

Re: DL360 Gen7 ILO3 unable to load resource
In cases where a client does not have the cipher specifed on the encryption tab (RSA_With3DES_EDE_DBC_SHA), the setting for Enforce AES/3DES Encryption can be set to false - *BUT* I would only do this on controlled internal networks.
