DL360G0 and DL380G9 - Server 2022 and Smart Array Alerts
Hi.
I have two servers which I have installed Server 2022 on fresh. I know it's not officially supported, but everything seems to be working well, and stable. I installed the SPP and then updated subsequent drivers manually. So far so good.
I am wanting to monitor for array alerts which I understand means I need to install
HPE Smart Array SAS/SATA Event Notification Service for 64 Bit Windows. 6.46.0.64 which is apparently the latest, but when I try and install it, it says it's not supported on my server.
Is there a workaround to get this installed, and if so what is it? If I get it installed, should it work OK? (even if it's unsupported).

Betreff: DL360G0 and DL380G9 - Server 2022 and Smart Array Alerts
Hi,
I don't know an Answer to your question, but if you have iLO Advanced License, you can enable Mail Notification also in iLO:
However the Windows Notification Driver only ad a Windows Eventlog Entry.

Thanks for the heads up on the iLO email alerting.
We need the Event Logging as this how our RMM detects failures. We could use both, but I'd be keen to get this working.
