DL360g6 HP Team interface acquiring network address after reboot

Hi

There is new installed four HP DL360 G6 servers. All have new firmware 9.20.
Operating system is Windows 2003 R2 Std SP2.
There is new SmartStart 8.60 .

I make HP Team with two interfaces and set static ip address. After reboot the server there is no connection to machine and Team interface all the time acquiring network address (static ip set). Only solution to this is disable and reenable the interface. Then everything wors fine (till reboot).

All servers are connected to two Cisco 3750G switches. Switches are stacked. There is some LACP configuration on switch ports.

Any idea ?

Hi there,

what is NIC driver and NCU version?

disable TOE and side scaling from NIC properties and device manager before putting the NICs into team..

I remember this issue was addressed with latest NIC driver and NCU...

thanks,
Aftab

Go to the settings tab for the team and remove the check from transmit and receive path validation. Let us know what result this has.
The truth is out there, but I forgot the URL..

Hi

So, I set Team type at :
SLB ( switch-assisted Load Balancing).
After this everything looks fine :)
