DL380, Flash Unsuccessful to Update 5i Controller

I have 3 Raid 5, DL380 Win2000 servers. I upgraded one of these to from SP2 to SP4. This caused the Veritas Backup to quit working with timeout errors. Veritas told me that they couldn't help me until I updated to the latest firmware. I tried to upgrade from Firmware 1.16 to 1.92 and got the error "Flash unsucessful 1h Compaq 5a-5i Ctrl slot 0.

Any ideas on why flash didn't work, or why timeout's after the SP4 upgrade?

Pat:

You may have tried to instlall the wrong bios. Here is the SmartArray 5i bios update you need (version 2.58):

Boot with your SmartStart CD. Select the "Maintenance" tab on the main SmartStart screen, and launch the ROM Update Utility.
Follow the instructions found under the "Supplemental Disk" tab to install the update from the diskette.
