I replaced both fans with working fans from the six that were used for power and riserboards, LED's are green.
But now the cpu fans still lights amber (failure). Server is booting, POST gives 2 1611 errors and go's in a reboot after 5 seconds or so.
Has someone an idea how to reset the failure?
Need the server very soon running, no spare!
Thnx for replying!

SolutionThe server continues to show the same fans slots are failed, even though the fans have been swapped out? If so, I suspect a problem with the system board. I would clear NVRAM on the server first (switch 6 in the maintenance switch bank) and if that doesn't make any difference you may need to have the system board replaced.

Re: DL380-G2 CPU Fan Failure
You are right. Swapping wasn't succesfull, even clearing the NVRAM wasn't.
I could get my hands on an spare system board, replaced mine and voila! Server is running again...
@All: Thnx for reading, thinking and replying!
